It’s true, at the end of the day, photography is an investment. When you pay for professional photography services, you’re not just paying for a pretty picture or two to put on the ‘gram, you’re paying for someone who has invested her, his or their own time and money to master a skill, purchase equipment, and fuel a passion of capturing your memories in a meaningful, artistic, and authentic way. You want beautiful photos that you’ll look back on in 20, 40, 80(?) years to remind you of this incredibly special time in your life. I want you to look at the photos and not only be reminded of the memories…

…but I also want you to feel 100% satisfied about your decision of inviting someone in to capture this extremely intimate piece of your life. I’d hate for you to look back at the photos from your wedding day and think, “Well that photo is beautiful, but I remember feeling so [insert not positive adjective here] when that photo was taken, because the photographer was being so [insert positive adjective here].” (I don’t know about you, but I love a good Mad Libs moment) We’re here for those authentic, positive emotions, ones that only a friend would be able to notice and capture.
