Date Night Style Engagement Session in Chicago’s Roscoe Village

Lizzy & Mitch had a vision for their engagement session, and I fear we ate.

We started at Volo Wine Bar in Chicago’s quaint Roscoe Village. Volo was the perfect place to kick things off. With a newly renovated interior and stunning back patio, we had the place to ourselves before it opened to patrons and took advantage of its gorgeous design for some portraits.

From there, we bopped around the main streets of Roscoe Village, taking photos of L&M that made them look like they should be on a billboard advertising Roscoe Village to convince new fun, chic couples to move to the neighborhood. They were effortless in their interactions with each other and in front of the camera. Like me, they are big Bravo/Love Island stans, so it was very easy to give them prompts to chat about that created natural smiles and laughter and banter off each other.

The second half of the session was spent at a nearby park, a hidden gem along the Chicago river. July treated us with flowers and tall grasses in full bloom, and I’m truly still in awe of how gorgeous the area was. The park complimented L&M’s natural chemistry beautifully. I told them these photos look like they could be an Abercrombie ad, and as a major donor to the brand myself, I think I have pretty good authority to make this happen (jokes).

I had so much fun hanging out with them during their session, and I couldn’t be more excited to continue celebrating these two in 2026 for their wedding!!
