Cozy Fall Engagement Session along the Leaf-Lined Neighborhood Streets in Chicago

S&G wanted a session that felt true to them, so we took a stroll down the gorgeous tree lined streets of one of their favorite neighborhoods. They’ve been together for almost a decade, and it took all of 5 seconds of watching them interact to see that they are truly best friends. I couldn’t stop smiling while photographing, because they are so darn cute together. Little did they know (or maybe they did know), they picked the best day possible for a fall session; the streets and sidewalks were filllllled with colorful leaves, screaming fall in every direction.

We ended the session at one of their favorite neighborhood bars for some drinks and to wrap up their photos. I was having so much fun with them that I stuck around for a beer after and chatted about life.

It’s such a treat getting to just hang out and shoot the sh*t with my couples. It makes their wedding day that much sweeter with the extra rapport, comfort & banter we’ve established.
