Important caveat: Even if your venue is not on the list below, rest assured that prior to each wedding, I make an extensive visit to the venue to scope it out to get the lay of the land, to map out ideas for photo locations and to understand how I need to prepare for its various lighting scenarios. For destination weddings, I always ensure I arrive early enough, whether hours in the Midwest or day(s) if coastal/abroad, to ensure I have ample time to walk the property prior to the wedding.
